Bengals Win Big clothed in Ratings Again

Another Bengals loss, an extra colossal television rating on Channel 12 carry on night….

The Bengals’ 27-7 preseason loss to the NY Jets game averaged an 18.5 rating and 30% audience share, again scoring more viewers than all the other confined stations combined.  Ranked #2 on the night was “Dateline NBC” on Channel  5 (3.8/7%), followed by ABC’s ”America’s Funniest Home Videos” (3.7/7%) on Channel 9. NBC’s NFL preseason game with Cris Collinsworth (San Diego @ Dallas) averaged a 6.5 rating and 10% audience share. NBC’s game pulled out up viewers by the side of 10pm, similar to the Bengals TV show ended (I won’t say “the game ended,” for the reason that the genuine competitive healthy contest was on by with the aim of as the Jets scored 17 unanswered points.)

The 18.5 rating was a 45% increase in intensity from the Bengals’ basic preseason loss, 34-3, to the Detroit Lions on Friday, Aug. 12.

Cam Newton’s first appearance as the Carolina Panthers preliminary QB contrary to the Bengals 7 p.M. Thursday isn’t scheduled to air live, for the reason that the basic mother country preseason game isn’t likely to retail barred.  The Bengals-Panthers will be tape-delayed until 11:35 p.M. Thurday  on Channel 12. It will air live on means of communication on WEBN-FM and WCKY-AM – but not WLW-AM for the reason that of the Reds-Marlins game.

If the Bengals keep getting hammered, how soon will television viewership will decline?
